Using Pheromones At Work
Happy weekend, Love Scent fans! We hope you’re all doing well.
At Love Scent, we talk with a lot of newcomers to the world of pheromones, and they’re all eager to hear our recommendations for the best cologne or perfume we have. One issue comes up consistently during these conversations: which pheromones can and cannot be used on a daily basis, and more specifically, which can and cannot be worn to work. Today, let’s take a closer look at pheromones in professional settings, and which are and are not appropriate for workplace wear.
Now, pheromones can be a great asset in the workplace: salespeople can improve their relationships with potential and existing clients, office workers can get along better and collaborate more productively, managers can be more approachable to their teams, and more. But this doesn’t mean that every pheromone in our catalog will serve you well in the workplace. Remember, not all pheromones are appropriate for all situations: some are too sexual, too aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate in particular contexts, and our professional lives come with a particular set of restrictions that we all need to keep in mind.
Take Primal Instinct for Men as an example. This product is pure AndrosteNONE, which is a strong “alpha” pheromone that gives its wearer dominant, sexual qualities. That’s great for your dating life, but it can make your colleagues uncomfortable or agitated–not exactly what you want in the workplace, right? Even Alpha-7, with its balancing element of AndrosteRONE, is too intense for most people to wear to work. The exception, as we’ve discussed in the past, is women who need a boost of authority in their professional lives, and even they should use Alpha-7 very sparingly and stop using it if they’re noticing bad reactions from coworkers.
A good way to judge whether a pheromone is appropriate for the workplace is to consider what a pheromone does. Pure sexual and/or dominant pheromones typically aren’t good choices for a work environment, unless they are used very sparingly or in very particular circumstances, because their effects just aren’t conducive to a work environment. Examples here include AndrosteNONE and copulins. If a pheromone blend contains these sexual and dominant pheromones, they also need to include a heavy proportion of social pheromones to balance out the aggressive effects of the other ingredients if you want to wear them to work.
Pure social pheromones, on the other hand, work very well in professional settings. They naturally make you friendlier and more approachable, and improve social cohesion, collaboration, and all the things a workplace needs to be more pleasant for everyone involved. Social pheromones include:
- AndrosteNOL: the primary social pheromone that is found in many of our products.
- Beta-Androstenol: the beta-isomer of AndrosteNOL, found at Love Scent in its pure form and in Cleo Beta-Nol.
- Estratetraenol: a soothing social pheromone that improves the mood, reduces anxiety, and makes the wearer more approachable.
These pheromones can be very helpful for any worker in any professional setting, be it the everyday office, a conference or summit, a business trip, a new client meeting, and more. Those of you who find that your natural personality tends to set people on edge, maybe because you’re naturally dominant or a “lone wolf” type, will find that these pheromones are especially useful in helping you smooth out the rough edges and set your colleagues and managers at ease. You can’t (and shouldn’t have to) change who you are, but pheromones can help mold other people’s perceptions of you, and that’s a huge help.
Now let’s take a look at some specific pheromone products that can be worn to the office and to work events. (These are also pheromones that can be worn daily, by the way, in almost any social situation.) We’re restricting our recommendations to products that come in unscented varieties, as more and more workplaces are asking people to avoid using scents in consideration of colleagues and clients with allergies and other sensitivities. If you want a pheromone you can just apply as you head out the door without pausing to go through a mental plan of your day to make sure it’s appropriate, this list below is for you.
1. Scent of Eros Unscented (starting at $9.95)
Scent of Eros Unscented is one of our most popular products, and one that we often recommend to beginners and as an option for daily wear. Its unscented version is available in a 10 ml roll-top bottle..
Scent of Eros Unscented contains AndrosteNOL and AndrosteRONE at a 4-to-1 ratio. The AndrosteNOL offers a nice dose of social charisma, while the AndrosteRONE offers a tiny bit of an authoritative boost–but not to the extent that you’ll be agitating those around you. This formula makes Scent of Eros Unscented an excellent choice for someone who needs a little bit of help with their perceived authority, but is mostly interested in creating a collaborative, stress-free environment for themselves and their colleagues.
Order your Scent of Eros Unscented for $49.95 today!
UPDATE: We no longer carry the Scent of Eros products. Try the Love Scent Pheromone Oils or Liquid Trust instead!
2. Liquid Trust ($29.95)
Liquid Trust is our most popular unisex product that contains a social hormone linked to increased trust. It can be worn on the skin and on fabrics, and is best worn around the neck so that the wearer gets as good a dose of the soothing hormones as those around them.
Salespeople are especially fond of Liquid Trust, but it can be helpful for any worker in any field. In addition to fostering trust, it also boost confidence, soothes away anxiety, and puts everyone at ease even in stressful and heated situations. It’s ideal for especially hectic times at work, like end-of-the-quarter scrambling or during the final rush to get a big project completed on time.
If you and your colleagues need a little help coping with stress at work, Liquid Trust is a very good choice. Order your 1/4 oz bottle today for $29.95!
3. Chikara Unscented for Men ($59.95)
Containing the same formula as our most popular scented product for men, Chikara Pheromone Cologne for Men, Chikara Unscented has a well-balanced formula of seven different pheromones. The primary components are AndrosteNOL, AndrosteNONE, and AndrosteRONE, with the proportion of AndrosteNOL high enough to balance out the aggressive effects of the more dominant pheromones.
The nicely balanced formula of Chikara Unscented makes it our go-to recommendation for beginners, as well as those who want a pheromone that can be worn every day, no matter what the situation. If you need help with approachability and perceived friendliness in your workplace (or anywhere else), we recommend that you give Chikara a try.
Chikara Unscented is available for $59.95. Check it out today!
4. W.A.G.G. ($69.95)
Short for “What A Great Guy,” W.A.G.G. was designed as a men’s product but is suitable for use by pheromone enthusiasts of any gender–so, really, it could be short for “What A Great Gal,” too, or anything else you like! This product is pure AndrosteNOL, meaning that it’s 10 mls of social magnetism, friendliness, and approachability.
Because it only contains the goodness of AndrosteNOL, W.A.G.G. has a long list of helpful effects: reduced anxiety in you and those around you, a more relaxed atmosphere for you and your colleagues, an improved collaborative spirit, and more. It’s good for office workers, managers, and anyone who could use a calm environment to work.
You can order yourself a bottle of W.A.G.G. today for $69.95. We know you won’t regret it!
UPDATE: We no longer carry W.A.G.G., but we have several other products with the same key ingredient of Androstenol. Try the Love Scent Pheromone Oils, or pure Androstenol!
