DIY pheromone fragrances are a fun way to customize your pheromones. Whether you’re just particular about your scents, or want to create a totally custom pheromone formula tailored to your exact needs, we have ways to help you achieve your goals.

Let’s dive right in!

1. SET YOUR GOALS

First and foremost, you’ll need to choose what you want your DIY pheromone fragrances to do for you!

In some cases, the choice is very straightforward. Say you have an unscented pheromone whose effects you love (such as Super Primal for Her or Liquid Trust), but you want them to smell better–perhaps smell like your favorite perfume! If this is you, your DIY pheromone project will be fast and simple.

In other cases, you might have found that existing pheromone formulas don’t quite give you the effects you want. Maybe you’ve tried Alpha-7 but found that it was too agitating. Or maybe you enjoy the mood-elevating effects of NPA for Women but wish it had a more intense sexual effect. In these cases, you can think about which part of these formulas you’d like to improve, and set the goal of improving them.

Or maybe you’ve been using pheromones for a while and have decided that you’d like to make a custom pheromone totally from scratch. This would be a fun and interesting project for anyone with plenty of experience with pheromone products!

Once you have a clear idea of what you want your DIY pheromone fragrances to do, it’s time to pick the pheromones you’ll use to meet those goals!

2. CHOOSE YOUR PHEROMONES

Whatever your goals are for your DIY pheromone fragrances, we have what you need to meet them. Our wide selection of pheromone fragrances, additives, and concentrates are all ready and waiting for you to customize. But, of course, the products you choose will depend on what your goals are, and how much experience you have with pheromones already.

Let’s take a look at the options!

OPTION #1: Off-the-shelf formulas.

These are the pre-made products like Alpha-7 Unscented, SuperMone Pheromone Cologne, Primal Women, and so on. The main benefit here is that someone else has already taken care of things like pheromone content and pheromone concentration. You know you’re getting popular, effective pheromone formulas that many people have found success with. You’re just customizing them to meet your unique needs!

There are a few ways to use off-the-shelf pheromone formulas to make your own DIY pheromone fragrances:

  • Add your favorite fragrance to an unscented pheromone. This is an easy, straightforward way to benefit from an existing formula, but put your own spin on it with your own fragrance! This is a popular DIY option for people who are particular about their fragrances.
  • Mix multiple unscented pheromones together before adding your favorite fragrance. This lets you benefit from the positive effects of multiple pheromone formulas, while still controlling the fragrance in the final product!
  • Mix multiple unscented pheromones with a scented pheromone. Maybe you love the scent of a particular pheromone fragrance, such as Edge Pheromone Cologne, but wish the pheromone formula was slightly different–perhaps more sexual. In that case, you can use an unscented off-the-shelf pheromone such as Alpha-7 to tweak the Edge while keeping the fragrance!

Using off-the-shelf pheromones is a good option for people who are newer to the practice of DIY pheromone fragrances. There are fewer steps involved, and less experimenting to do. So, if you’re new to the process, we recommend getting a few formulas and start mixing!

(For more guidance on mixing different products, see our earlier post on combining pheromones.)

OPTION #2: Pure pheromone concentrates.

Our pure pheromone concentrates have a pheromone concentration of 1 mg/1 ml, so they allow you to quickly add large amounts of pheromones to your DIY blend. They’re unscented, so you can combine them with any fragrance you wish.

One thing to keep in mind about the pure pheromone concentrates: they’re intended for experienced pheromone users only. The high concentrations mean that you’ll need to add very small amounts to your blend. It will be easy to add too much and end up with a pheromone overdose!

If you do have the necessary experience, pure pheromone concentrates are a fantastic way to make a totally customized DIY pheromone fragrance. You will have total control over the pheromone ingredients and their concentrations. This means that you’ll be able to make minor adjustments to the formula to create something that works with your body chemistry!

Whether you choose off-the-shelf formulas or pure pheromones really just depends on your own experience level, and how much time you want to devote to your DIY pheromone fragrances. If you’re new to the process, go with off-the-shelf formulas. If you have lots of experience and want to devote time to developing a formula from scratch, pure pheromone concentrates might be for you!

Once you’ve chosen your pheromones, it’s time to complete the formula by adding a fragrance!

3. CHOOSE YOUR FRAGRANCE

If your mix of pheromones already includes a scented pheromone, then this step is already done! For example, if you chose to mix Edge Pheromone Cologne with Sandalwood and Alpha-7 Unscented, or Primal Women with Love Scent Pheromone Oils–Honeysuckle, you don’t need to add any more fragrance. The scented pheromone included in your mix took care of that for you!

But if your combination of pheromones doesn’t involve a scented product, it’s time to consider the fragrance!

For some people, picking the fragrance will be easy. Perhaps you have a go-to perfume or cologne for all occasions. Or, you have a handful of fragrances that you choose from depending on the event. In these cases, you’ll probably want to stick with one of these tried-and-true scents!

If you don’t have a set go-to fragrance, though, you can think about what fragrances will go well with the mix you’ve developed!

For example, let’s say you’re a woman who has made a fun, flirty, lighthearted pheromone mix for casual date nights. You’ll want to pick a fragrance that matches the mood that the pheromones help create. So, instead of a fragrance that is intense and sultry, pick something light and playful to go with this mix!

Or maybe you’ve developed a mix specifically for business trips in your professional world of sales. You won’t want an aggressive, overpowering fragrance to go with this blend. Rather, you’ll want something light, inoffensive, and gently memorable, so your colleagues and potential clients develop a long-lasting good impression of you.

Or perhaps you’ve made a formula designed to help you relax and unwind. In this case, you may like to turn to the world of essential oils! Mixing a relaxing pheromone blend with Lavender oil can really bring the pheromones’ qualities to a whole new level.

Basically, we recommend choosing a fragrance that complements the carefully-chosen qualities of the pheromone blend. Remember that scents by themselves are powerful things. Think of them as critical players in your DIY pheromone fragrances–not afterthoughts!
