Happy Friday, Love Scent fans!

Today, we’re going to look at some tips for getting the most out of your pheromones. If you’re new to the world of pheromones, or are looking for ways to improve your pheromones’ effectiveness, this post is for you! We want to make sure that everyone has the knowledge they need to use pheromones safely and successfully.

Let’s dive right in!

1. KNOW WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU

The most important thing you can do to get the most out of your pheromones: make sure you’ve got the right product. Not every pheromone will work the same way for every person. There are a lot of factors to consider, including age, body chemistry, personality, appearance, and more.

We’ve covered how to choose the right pheromone for you in the past, but let’s recap the main points now!

First of all, you have to know what you need pheromones to do for you. Think hard about this particular point to make sure you’ve got the right answer. For example, if you’re experiencing a slump in your love life, you may think you need a pheromone that will help you be more attractive to others. But you might already be very attractive to others, and might actually be in need of something that will make you more approachable! See what we mean? Think carefully, and decide what specifically you need help with to get the best results!

Second, you need to know which pheromone is the right one for the job. Knowing what specific things you need help with will help you make the right decision here, too. For example, if you did decide that you need help being more approachable rather than being more attractive, then a social pheromone would be a better choice than a sex pheromone. Or, if you’ve decided that your real problem is lack of self-esteem or self-confidence, a formula with confidence-boosting effects will be your best bet!

Basically, you need to remember that pheromones are not one-size-fits-all products. Even if you’ve heard that a particular pheromone cologne did wonders for someone else’s love life, social life, or career, you can’t automatically assume that that same product will do the same thing for you. Think about your unique needs, and let that guide your selection.

Why is all this so important? Well, if you choose the wrong product for the job, the effects can end up backfiring. If you assume that the solution to your love life’s slump is a product that will ramp up your sexual magnetism, without considering that people might already find you appealing but also find you intimidating, you won’t get the results you want. You might even chase more people away!

Once you’ve chosen what you think is the right formula, you’ll need to test it out. We have plenty of advice on experimenting with pheromones that you can review before getting started. And if, after experimenting, you decide that it’s the wrong formula for you after all, don’t worry! We have a money-back guarantee, so just return it for a refund or an exchange!

So, in summary: make sure you know what your needs are, and explore different products to find the best fit for those needs. With a little self-reflection, a bit of research, and some experimenting with different products, you’ll soon find the right pheromone for you!

2. DON’T USE TOO MUCH

All right, so you’ve found the right pheromone for you. Time to splash it all over yourself, right? Well…not really!

With pheromones, “less is more” is pretty much always the rule. Strong, sexual formulas especially need to be used only in small amounts. Using too much can backfire, just like using the wrong formula can backfire. So be sure to use the right amount!

That said, “the right amount” means different things for different people. Just like there are several factors involved in choosing the correct formula, there are several factors involving in choosing the correct amount of that formula. For example, your age will affect the amount of pheromones you need to wear: younger people tend to need smaller amounts than older people.

So, just like you might need to experiment with different formulas to find the right product for you, you’ll need to experiment with different pheromone doses to find the right amount of that product for you, too!

As a general rule, we recommend starting with a small amount of pheromones, regardless of the formula. Even if you aren’t using a potent sexual product, you probably won’t need much. Start with 1 drop (for dripper or eyedropper bottles), a 1/2-inch stripe (for roll-on bottles), or 1 spray (for atomizers). Apply the 1 drop/stripe/spray to one wrist, gently rub your wrists together, and dab what’s left against your throat. Then head out to experiment!

If you don’t get any responses from the small amount, you can use more. Increase in 1 drop/spray increments until you find the right amount for you!

If even the small amount was too much for you, you have a few options. First, you can try diluting the formula so that you can wear less than a drop/spray at a time. (You can also find a way to decrease the size of the drops, such as using a dripper stick to dab the formula onto your pulse points rather than using a full drop). Second, you can try mixing the product with a complementary formula that will smooth out its rough edges. (More on that in a minute.) If these don’t do the trick, you can try a different product!

Overall, just be careful not to overdo it on pheromones. Start small, pay attention to your results, and be prepare to change things up if necessary!

3. REMEMBER THE COVER SCENT

As you may know already, many (if not most) pheromones require a cover scent. A “cover scent” is a fragrance, synthetic or natural, that masks the smell of the pheromones. This makes the product more pleasant and, as a result, more likely to do what you hope it will do!

As we recently reviewed, cover scents do not interfere with the pheromones. A special organ in your nose called the VNO detects pheromones whether or not they are mixed with a fragrance. The purpose of a cover scent is to make sure your regular olfactory organs don’t pick up on the natural pheromone odors, which can be very unpleasant.

Many pheromone products already have a cover scent mixed in. We call these “scented pheromones,” since they already have an added scent. “Unscented pheromones” do not have a cover scent, but do have a natural pheromone odor that you’ll need to cover up!

One thing we’d like to reiterate: pheromones that don‘t need a cover scent are the exception, not the rule! We only have one or two unscented pheromones in our entire catalog that don’t require a cover scent. Unless your pheromone already has a fragrance mixed in, you should assume that you’ll need to pair it with your own perfume or cologne.

In addition to masking the pheromone odor, cover scents give you the chance to add another layer of intrigue to the pheromones. Our sense of smell is one of the most important senses we have, and scents have a huge impact on our emotions and memories. Using the right scent can make a huge difference in your pheromones’ success!

So, what kind of cover fragrance should you use? Well, that part is entirely up to you! Your favorite perfume or cologne, essential oil blend, body spray, or body oil should work well! Anything that masks the natural pheromone odor is a suitable cover scent.

4. MIX IT UP!

Our final tip for getting the most out of your pheromones: mix different formulas together! By combining complementary pheromones together in one mix, you can bring out each formula’s best qualities while smoothing out their possible bad side effects. If no single formula has worked for you, mixing could be just what you need to find the perfect combination of pheromones! Mixing is also a fun way to explore the full range of qualities that pheromones have to offer!

For example: Alpha-7 Unscented is a popular, potent, and effective sex pheromone. It’s also a bit too intense by itself for many men. By pairing it with a formula with some social pheromones, you can smooth out its aggressive effects and let its positive qualities shine through. Many men like to pair Alpha-7 Unscented with Chikara; you could also try the Love Scent Pheromone Oils!

Even if a formula works well on its own, you can try mixing it with a complementary pheromone to see if you can kick things up a notch. For example, many women find that Primal Women works very well to attract a partner–as long as it’s paired with a cover scent, that is! But by pairing it with another emotionally-charged sex pheromone, like Mistress, or social pheromone, like the Love Scent Pheromone Oils, you may experience even more intensely satisfying effects!

If you’d like to mix two or more pheromones together, just remember to keep their individual formulas in mind. Pairing two potent sex pheromones together will likely backfire. Pairing two social pheromones with very similar effects probably won’t result in anything interesting. But pairing pheromones with different effects (such as sex pheromones with social pheromones) can lead to fantastic results!

One final note: just as you’ll need to experiment to find the right pheromone for you and the right amount for you, finding the right pheromone mix will require some experimenting too. Test out your mixes and keep adjusting them until you find the ideal combination of ingredients and the correct amount of each!
