Back to business! This week, we want to talk about making your own pheromone perfumes and colognes at home!

Making your own DIY pheromone perfume or cologne has several advantages. First, you can tailor it to meet your specific needs. If off-the-shelf pheromone products aren’t giving you quite the effects you’re looking for, you can come up with your own blend that works better for you.

Second, you can have total control over the scent of your perfume or cologne when you make your own at home. Scents are very subjective, and some people won’t use a great pheromone product because they don’t like the smell of the cover fragrance. When you start with unscented pheromone products or pure pheromones, you get to decide what it smells like and how intense the cover scent will be. You can even make your own DIY homemade perfume or cologne to use as a cover scent.

Third, making DIY pheromone perfume or cologne at home gives you a better understanding of pheromones and how they work. Experimenting with different blends and cover scents is a fun experience to begin with, and you’ll know more about the products and their effects once you’ve worked with them so closely.

If you’re interested in making your own pheromone perfumes and colognes, here are two important resources that will help you find the right combinations for your needs:

You can turn to the Cookbook or the forum whenever you want guidance on your DIY pheromones.

Now let’s take a look at what you’ll need to make your own DIY pheromone perfumes and colognes at home!

PHEROMONES

First and foremost, you’ll need the pheromones! Love Scent has plenty of options available, so take a look!

Alpha 7 Unscented Pheromones1. Off-The-Shelf Pheromones (Recommended For Beginners)

If you haven’t used pheromones much before, or have only used pre-made pheromone perfumes and colognes, we recommend starting by mixing different unscented pheromone products. These products have been developed by professionals, so you know you’re starting off with a quality formula right from the beginning.

Sometimes, making a DIY pheromone perfume or cologne is as simple as buying a bottle of an unscented pheromone product, like Alpha-7, NPA, or Love Scent Copulin Concentrate and adding your own perfume or cologne to it. This is a popular option that works well for many people.

But some people have found that individual pheromone products don’t work well enough on their own. They might be too strong or too weak when used by themselves, or maybe they just don’t give quite the results you’re looking for. In that case, you can mix different unscented pheromones together, letting each formula complement the other. Popular combinations include:

You don’t have to limit yourself to these combinations, of course. Use your imagination–and a good cover scent!

You can find unscented pheromones for men HERE. And unscented pheromones for women can be found HERE.

Plenty of people have great success with mixing off-the-shelf pheromones, and are so pleased with the results that they don’t feel the need to keep searching for the right formula. That said, if you’ve been using pheromones for a while, have a good understanding of how they work, and want to make an even more customized mix, there is another option for you:

AndrosteRONE (6 ml)2. Pure Pheromones (Recommended For More Advanced Pheromone Users)

Love Scent has a collection of pure pheromones for those who wish to make very customized mixes for themselves. Again, this option works best for those who are very knowledgeable about pheromones, and know how to properly mix different pheromones at the appropriate concentrations.

Pheromone “pros” who like to work with pure pheromones will be interested in our Fab 4 Chem Sets, which contain a 5-ml bottle of each of the most common ingredients in pheromone mixes: AndrosteNONE, AndrosteRONE, AndrosteNOL, and AndrostaDIENONE.

If you want to take a look at our full selection of pure pheromones, you can do so HERE.

COVER SCENTS

Once you’ve got your eye on a mix that you think will work, you need to choose a cover scent. If you have a cologne or perfume that you already love, keep using that one! But if you haven’t found a cover fragrance you love yet, Love Scent has plenty of options for you:

Lavender 100% Pure Essential Oil - Undiluted Therapeutic Grade - 10 ML1. Essential Oils

If you’d like to combine the effects of your pheromones with the effects of therapeutic essential oils, we can help you there. We have several essential oils available, which you can get individually, one bottle at a time, or as part of a 6-bottle aromatherapy sampler set.

Pairing pheromones with essential oils allows you to combine the power of aromatherapy with the power of pheromones. In addition to smelling nice, different essential oils have different effects on the body–some energize us, others relax us, and some give us a general sense of well-being and good health. When you wear essential oils as a cover scent, you and everyone around you will enjoy the therapeutic effects of the oils in addition to the effects of the pheromones.

If you prefer more natural cover scents and perfumes, essential oils are a good choice for you. You can see our full selection HERE.

Shahana Gold2. Perfumes and Colognes

If you’d prefer to leave the essential oils to aromatherapy fans, we also have a collection of brand colognes, perfumes, and concentrated cover scents for you to choose from. We have well-known brands like Adidas and Tommy Hilfiger, affordable brands like the Dorall Collection, and roll-on cover scent concentrates inspired by celebrities and well-known perfumers.

ROLL-ONS AND ATOMIZERS

Once you’ve made a DIY pheromone perfume or cologne that you’re happy with, you need a place to store it and a way of applying it.

If you prefer atomizers, which often work better for thinner, alcohol- or water-based mixes, we have those available. Our 5-ml refillable pocket atomizers allow you to carry your DIY pheromone creations with you wherever you go, so you can freshen up the pheromones whenever you need to. You can order one HERE.

If you prefer roll-ons, which tend to work better for thicker, oil-based formulas, we have those too. Our 5-ml glass roll-on bottles are refillable and conveniently sized. Order yours HERE.
