Happy Saturday, Love Scent fans. This week we’ll be going over a few steps that you should always take when testing a new pheromone product out. Trying out a new pheromone product can be a very rewarding experience, but there are many factors that can affect your experience with a product, so you want to be as scientific as possible when testing and make sure that you control for those factors as much as possible. Often people will try a product out once, get nothing from the experience, and write the product off as being useless. Many of those people might have had a great experience with the product the next day if they’d just given it one more shot. To make sure you’re getting the most out of a new product, make sure you follow these easy steps.

 

1. Shower before putting on any product

When trying out a new product, you want to make sure that you’re getting a pure experience. The natural pheromones that you produce can sometimes clash with a new pheromone product, giving you a subpar experience. You can easily avoid this by taking a nice, long shower before you put on any product and go out. In general, this is good advice when using any pheromone product, and really you should probably be showering once a day whether you plan on wearing pheromones or not. 😉

 

2. Use a familiar cover scent when testing an unscented pheromone product

You should almost always be wearing a cover fragrance of some kind when using unscented pheromone products. However, some fragrances can change the way the pheromone works in subtle ways. To get the clearest view of how a product will work for you, you should test it out with one of your favorite fragrances during the first few uses. This way, you’ll be able to see the exact difference between wearing the fragrance without any pheromones, and wearing it with your new pheromone product. Eventually, you might find that different fragrances complement the product better than your favorite one, but it’s important to have a good baseline to judge your experience against for the first few tests.

 

3. Test it out multiple times in different places

Pheromones are not love potions. They do not have a 100 percent success rate, and your experiences can change from day to day (just like they can when you’re not wearing pheromones). For this reason, it’s important to try out a new product at least a few times, and in different situations, before you decide if the product is right for you.
